I worked a long time on this story because I really like basketball a lot. I had to revise my story because I used the word it a lot!
Once there was a basketball team called the Badgers. On their team were nine players. Their names were Pete, Larry, Michael, Kevin, Kobe, Tim, Shaquille, Paul and Ray. Their first game was against the winless Bears.
The person who tipped the ball was Tim. Tim caught the basketball! The tip was to Pete. Pete passed the ball to Shaquille and Shaquille dunked. It was 2-0. It was the bears ball. Somebody tried to shoot the ball. Kevin blocked it. Kevin passed it to Larry. Larry made a 3. It was 5-0. Somebody on the Bears tried to pass it. Pete stole it. It was the end of the first quarter. Pete passed the ball to Kevin. Somebody on the bears fouled Ray. Ray made both free shots. It was 7-0. Somebody on the Bears made a shot. It was 7-2. The buzzer sounded for half time.
It was the Badger’s ball. Ray made a 3. It was 10-2. It was the Bears’ ball. The guy didn’t catch it and Paul got it. It was the end of the third quarter. It was the Badger’s ball. Tim missed the 3. It was rebounded by Kobe. Kobe passed it to Ray and there were 5 seconds left when Ray made the 3. The Badgers won! They all said, “Good game!” It was 13-2.
The next game was against the Dogs. Tim tipped the ball. The tip was to Ray. Ray passed the ball to Paul and he made a 3 and was fouled. He made the free shot. It was 4-0. It was the Dog’s ball. They missed a 3. Michael rebounded it. he passed it to Larry and he made a 3. It was 7-0. It was the end of the first quarter. It was the Dog’s ball. Tim blocked the pass. Ray passed it to Larry. It was 10-0. It was half time. It was the Dog’s ball. They missed it. Michael got it. he made it. It was 12-0. it was the end of the third quarter.It was the Dog’s ball. They both wanted to win. They missed it again. They forfeited the game.
The next game is the championship. It’s the 2-0 Pandas vs. the awesome 2-0 Badgers. Tim tipped it. He missed it. The Pandas got the basketball. They made the basket. It was 0-2. It was the Badger’s ball. Pete made the next basket. It was 2-2. It was the Panda’s ball. They made the shot. It was 4-2. It was the end of the first quarter. It was the Badger’s ball. Larry made it. It was 4-4. It was the Panda’s ball. They rebounded it and it was half time. It was the Badgers ball. They made it. It was 6-4. It was the Panda’s ball. They made a 3. It was 6-7. It was the end of the third quarter. It was the Badger’s ball. Pete made the basket. It was 2-2. It was the Panda’s ball. They made it. They made it. It was 4-2. It was the end of the first quarter. It was the Badger's ball. Larry made it. It was 4-4. It was the Panda’s ball. They missed it but they rebounded it. It was half time. It was the Badger’s ball. They made it. It was the Panda’s ball. They made a 3. It was 6-7. It was the end of the third quarter. it was the Badger’s ball. Shaquille made it. It was 8-7. It was the Panda’s ball. They made it. It was 8-9. It was the Badger’s ball. There were ten seconds left. Michael ran up the court and scored from half court. The Badger’s won. It was 11-9. Everyone cheered, “Michael did it! Michael did it.” It was a good season for the Badgers.
